Naturally I get LOTS of questions!

Hopefully most of your curiosity can be fulfilled below!

Where can I find your schedule?

There are 2 places to find our schedule.

(1) The first place is on the toolbar at the top of the homepage of this website. ALL scheduled “UPCOMING EVENTS” are posted in chronological order and are titled according to the location in Texas. Each event will have an appointment link attached to the event. When you open the link and click on FULL DESCRIPTION, ALL details for that event are included.  This includes the address, dates and available appointment times.

(2) The second place to find the schedule is on our Facebook page Texas Fairy Hair – Silken Sparkling Hair Extensions. The schedule is pinned to appear at the beginning of the timeline as Featured “Upcoming Events”.  Just click on it. You will need to click on “Book and appointment link:” When the link opens you will see the FULL DESCRIPTION, ALL details for that event are included.  This includes the address, dates and available appointment times.  ALL events appear in chronological order and are titled according to the location in Texas.

How do I make an appointment?

Find the event on the schedule you would like to attend. Click on the link attached to the event.

There is a black box in the center that says “VIEW FULL DESCRIPTION” – Click on the black box.  Read ALL the information and when you get to the schedule select the time you would like to make your appointment .Click on the box that says “Sign UP” At the bottom of the page click on “Submit and Sign up”. 

You will then begin to fill in your personal information.  Enter a comment (optional), First Name, Last Name, email address, phone number, phone type (this is landline or mobile) and how many strands you would like. FINALLY…be sure to click on “SIGN UP NOW”.

You should get an email confirmation as well as an appointment reminder two days prior to your appointment. 

What if I want to schedule an appointment and the event schedule is already fully booked?

You are always welcome to contact Texas Fairy Hair via the contact link on the website or  via text at #828-266-1443. If a cancellation occurs several days before an event it is likely we can work you in. HOWEVER…last minute cancellations typically happen within 24 hours of the event. Please check the schedule for availability!!! I am NOT able to answer text messages or calls while I am preparing for an event or during an event. I am sparkling clients and my entire attention is on the client in the chair. Again, last minute cancellations happen, so be sure to check the schedule!    

Do I need to do anything special to prepare for my appointment?

Please arrive with hair that is DRY, clean, brushed and without hairspray, gels or product. ALL of these factors affect application of the Fairy Hair as well as the longevity and retention time. 

Can children wear Fairy Hair?

Please be aware that children age 8 and below do not retain the Fairy Hair as long as adults!! Younger children typically have very fine hair and their shedding patterns are much more frequent! I do find exceptions to this rule, and no matter what, getting sparkling hair extensions is a magical experience for all ages. Because of questionable retention time, I recommend children start with 5 strands for a first time application. This is enough to frame the face and make them feel magical and special. 

There are three requirements that must be met in order for a child to receive Fairy Hair. 

(1) The child must be able to speak in full sentences in order to give verbal consent to receive fairy hair. 

(2) The child must be able to sit in the chair alone….NOT on your lap!

(3) The child needs to be able to sit still while in the chair.  

How long does fairy hair last ?

The magical silken strands are fused to one strand of your natural hair.  The Fairy Hair lasts until the natural hair it is attached to falls out.  It can last a month or a day, who can say? Most clients enjoy their fairy hair for weeks to months. Some clients report even longer!! The very first time you wash, dry and style your hair after an application you may lose one or two. Do Not Panic! It is not necessarily typical or predicted for this to happen, but it’s not unlikely either! I always give a few extra for free because this can happen. This just gives you an opportunity to make a wish!!! 

Is it ok to color/highlight/perm my hair?

Yes!!!!! You can do anything you would normally do to your natural hair. Coloring, highlighting or bleaching your hair does not weaken the product or change the color of the fairy hair. Since clients do tend to retain the fairy hair for several months the magical strands can start to fade or lose color after 6 months or more. I am happy to replace these well loved strands at your replacement strand appointment to keep things looking fresh and sparkly!

Can Fairy Hair tolerate heat?

Yes!!!! You can blow dry your hair as well as use a curling iron or flat iron up to 450 Degrees! The magical strands do not melt and will not damage your hair! 

How long must my hair be to be able to get fairy hair?

 In order to get a good fusion, hair must be at least 2 inches long.

Can I get an MRI while wearing Fairy Hair?

There is no metal in the magical silken strands. Feedback from clients has indicated that leaving the fairy hair in during an MRI has not affected the results. However an MRI is an expensive test and if you are getting an MRI of your head, I recommend removing the strands. Since the Fairy Hair has a reflective quality there is potential for this shine to interfere with data.  Your health and safety is most important and top priority!!

How is Fairy Hair attached? How do you put Fairy Hair in?

The magical silken strands are attached to one strand of your natural hair.  The quality of the product as well as the magical technique used by the fairy are both contributing factors to “how” the fairy hair is attached. There are NO BEADS , NO GLUE and NO CLIPS used to attach the Fairy Hair!!!! The tedious procedure is successful due to professional training as well as hours and hours of dedication and practice!  

Do you offer gift cards/certificates? How do I redeem a gift card/certificate?
Yes!!!!! Gift Cards/Certificates are available for any size package you choose.  Please see our Price List for reference to determine  the number of strands and cost. Gift cards/certificates may be purchased by using the “Contact Us” tab. Please just state the name of the recipient, name of the presenter and the total number of strands. If you are at an event and want to purchase a gift card, I always have them with me.
In order to redeem the gift card/certificate, simply make a regular appointment and present the card as payment at the time of service. The gift card/ certificate must be presented at the time of the appointment!!!!! Gift cards/certificates have an expiration of one year from purchase and that date is clearly written on the gift card/certificate.
Where can I buy Fairy Hair to put in at home?

The silken, sparkling strands are proprietary to Texas Fair Hair.  The magical strands are not available on the open market.  Texas Fairy Hair only uses safe, high quality strands. Ouality of product is  partially the reason you get the subtle classy look, as well as prolonged longevity and retention. 

How do the frequent fairy cards work?

At your sparkling appointment, you will receive a frequent fairy card and get one stamp/initial for each visit. Once your card is full you will receive 10 free strands of Fairy Hair. If you forget or misplace your card I am happy to give you another card and combine visits when you find your card.  However, in order to combine cards I will need the old cards. If your card is full and you would like to give it to a friend…. go for it!! What a great gesture!

Thank you for your interest in hosting a Fairy Hair Event with Texas Fairy Hair! Fairy Hair is FUN for all ages and is a GREAT way to socialize with friends, family or colleagues. Whether you are planning a party, gathering, or social event, Fairy Hair adds a little sparkle everyone will love.

 

*HOST OR HOSTESS IS PAYING FOR THE EVENT*

** SMALL GATHERINGS/CELEBRATIONS**  PRIVATE EVENT

Birthdays, Weddings, Baby Showers, Gender Reveal, Celebration of Accomplishments or Milestones (graduation, retirement, promotions, welcome to the neighborhood) Office Parties, Employee Appreciation, VIP Customer Appreciation

The fee required for a private event is $325.00 paid in full by host or hostess. This package typically includes one fairy for 3 hours and up to 100 strands of fairy hair. The package is designed to accommodate up to 10 guests, with each guest receiving 10 strands. This package does not require 10 guests, but is limited to 10 guests. If fewer than 10 guests attend the strands may be divided equally among the attending guests. For example: 5 guests may receive 20 strands.

Events requiring travel of more than 100 miles (roundtrip) are subject to an additional travel fee. Once the location is confirmed, the travel fee is calculated at a rate of $1.00 per mile exceeding the initial 100 miles.

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure and reserve the event date. This deposit will be applied toward the total event balance.

**LARGE GROUPS/CELEBRATIONS** PRIVATE EVENT

** Large Birthdays, Bat Mitzvahs, Quinceanera, VIP Customer Appreciation, Employee Appreciation, Corporate Events, Reunions and, Conventions **

If more than 10 guests will be attending, the minimum reservation is three hours. Pricing for larger events is typically $450 per fairy. Once the estimated number of participating guests is determined, the total number of strands each person will receive is finalized. Larger parties often require the presence of two fairies to ensure a smooth and timely experience for all guests.

Events requiring travel of more than 100 miles (roundtrip) are subject to an additional travel. Once the location is confirmed, the travel fee is calculated at a rate of $1.00 per mile exceeding the initial 100 miles.

**Friends /Family Mixer** PRIVATE EVENT

Texas Fairy Hair will provide a private signup link for the host or hostess to share with your guests. Each guest will use this link to make their own appointment. The link includes ALL relevant details, including pricing, and accepted methods of payment. The sign-up link is shared privately by the host or hostess and is not promoted by Texas Fairy Hair.

The minimum total of $350.00 in booked services is required for the event to proceed. If the sign-up link does not reflect the minimum required total 48 hours prior to the scheduled event the event will be cancelled.  There is no deposit required.

 

** POP- UP Event**  PUBLIC EVENT
*I AM A business owner/manager and would like to partner with Texas Fairy Hair by hosting a Fairy Hair event at my location. *

Texas Fairy Hair loves supporting fellow business owners by partnering with other small businesses to increase traffic flow, connect with new customers, and showcase what YOU have to offer. Whether you are promoting an event, celebrating a holiday or marking a special milestone, Fairy Hair adds a fun and memorable experience for your guests.

Texas Fairy Hair will provide a signup link for both the hosting venue and the general public. We handle client scheduling, event promotion via social media and private invitations to our registered fairy hair customers in Texas. There is NO hassle or effort required from the hosting venue, though cross promotion by the hosting venue is encouraged to maximize visibility and engagement.

Texas Fairy Hair travels as far as needed to bring magic to your event. Travel distance is at the discretion of the fairy. Currently we have 4 trained fairies and 2 joining our team soon! Our unique fusion technique, quality of product and experience makes us rare and highly sought after! We want everyone to sparkle, and we do our best to make that happen!

Do you have a salon or storefront?

Fairy Teresa, owner of Texas Fairy Hair, does have a Fairy Studio Suite located in Cypress Texas. Securing a private appointment is possible, but there is not a definitive weekly or monthly schedule.  If the Fairy Studio Suite in Cypress, Texas is OPEN, the date and times for availability will be posted in the “Upcoming Events” tab… OR you are always welcome to text #828-266-1443 for availability.
